Dance Boutique at Mill Ballet School
​​​Mandatory School Uniforms
The Mill Ballet School is committed to the traditions of classical dance etiquette. This begins with a dancer's appearance. Dancers must arrive to class with the appropriate class attire for his/her assigned level. In order to make accurate technical corrections, a teacher must be able to view the student clearly without the obstruction of extra garments.

No loose fitting clothes are permitted. Skirts may only be worn in pointe classes. In winter months, leg warmers and/or sweaters are acceptable. During the summer, girls may wear thin white ankle socks and boys may wear black biker shorts.
Girls' hair must be securely fastened in a bun. Boys should maintain well groomed hair. No jewelry or watches are permitted. The correct dance attire needed for any given class may be purchased at the school.

Creative Movement: Eurotard tank white leotard with white pull on skirt or leotard with attached skirt, pink or skin colored footed or convertible tights or white ankle socks, and ballet shoes
Pre-Ballet: Eurotard tank light pink leotard with light pink pull on skirt or leotard with attached skirt, pink or skin colored footed or convertible tights or white ankle socks, and ballet shoes
Ballet 1: Eurotard tank maroon leotard, pink or skin colored footed or convertible tights or white ankle socks, and ballet shoes
Ballet 2:Eurotard tank red leotard, pink or skin colored footed or convertible tights or white ankle socks, and ballet shoes
Ballet 3: Eurotard tank light blue leotard, pink or skin colored footed or convertible tights Eurotard, and ballet shoes
Ballet 4: Eurotard tank royal blue leotard, pink or skin colored footed or convertible tights, and ballet shoes
Ballet 5: black leotard, pink or skin colored convertible tights, and ballet shoes
Ballet 6: black leotard, pink or skin colored convertible tights, and ballet shoes
Hip Hop: Athletic wear and clean sneakers

Ballroom: leotard and tights/leggings with character or latin dance shoes for females and shirt, dance pants and jazz shoes for males

Contemporary: ballet level color leotard or black tank leotard or top with pink, skin colored, or black convertible tights with dance socks
​
Jazz: ballet level color leotard or black tank leotard or top with black tights or dance pants and jazz shoes
Boys: white fitted short sleeve t-shirt, black jazz pants, tights, or shorts, white socks and white ballet shoes or appropriate shoes for style of dance
