Dress Requirements

Mill Ballet School is committed to the traditions of dance class etiquette. This begins with a dancer's appearance. Dancers must arrive to class with the appropriate class attire for his/her assigned level. In order to make accurate technical corrections, teachers must be able to view the student clearly without the obstruction of extra garments. No loose fitting clothes are permitted. Skirts may only be worn in pointe classes. In winter months, leg warmers and/or sweaters are acceptable. During the summer, girls may wear thin white ankle socks and boys may wear black biker shorts.
