The Mill Ballet School is a fully professional dance organization dedicated to excellence in the classical and contemporary dance arts. The faculty members are recognized world wide for training fantastic dancers with a truly moldable style of dance movement that suits a variety of choreographic styles required of today's dancers.

Many dancers study for recreation, but an above average percentage of our students will be prepared for professional careers in dance, education, medicinel, journalism or other dance related professions.

Others will gain entrance into the affiliated Roxey Ballet professional ballet company which is a feeding company for the school. The schools training methods are a combination of the best techniques assembled and constantly evaluated to develop the most well rounded, thoughtful and technically sound artist.

All of the faculty are former and current professional artists. Each teacher understands that a professional teacher must invest 10-12 years in a young dancer to insure proper development and finish his or her job. Teachers at the Mill manage successful professional careers in the world of dance, others have retired from the stage, and many hold BFA and MFA degrees in dance.
